Health is often undervalued until we realize its true importance, overshadowed by the allure of relationships, wealth, and other worldly possessions. This sentiment is echoed in the saying: while we may regain friends, family, and riches, restoring our health isn't as straightforward.
पुनर्वित्तंपुनर्मित्रंपुनर्भार्यापुनर्मही।
एतत्सर्वंपुनर्लभ्यंनशरीरंपुनःपुनः।।
The recent COVID-19 pandemic has been a stark reminder of this truth. Hospitals across our nation and in many parts of the world were overwhelmed, grappling with shortages of essential medical personnel. Amid these challenging times, the unwavering dedication of doctors, nurses, and support staff who tirelessly served, often at personal risk, deserves our utmost admiration and gratitude.
Furthermore, it's heartening to acknowledge the invaluable contributions of religious institutions in our society. Many, including the revered Shri Sode Vadiraja Matha, have tirelessly worked to uplift the community, offering affordable education and healthcare services. The educational establishments in Innanje, initiated as early as 1943, stand testament to this commitment. Over the years, the engineering institute affiliated with our matha has nurtured over 3,000 students, many of whom have become pillars of society, contributing positively in myriad ways.
Inspired by this legacy and recognizing the pressing need for trained healthcare professionals, particularly nurses, the matha took a visionary step in 2023. Under the aegis of the Shri Vishnumoorthy Hayavadana Swamiji Education Society ®, we established the "Niramaya College of Allied Health Sciences." Our mission is clear: to impart top-tier education in nursing, producing skilled professionals equipped to alleviate suffering and aid in the healing process.
As we embark on this noble endeavor, I extend my best wishes to the institute. To all prospective students, I urge you to seize this opportunity, harnessing the education and resources provided to make meaningful contributions to our society.
